Can you put different roller weights in the same variator to get the weight that you want or would it be pretty pointless as the heavier rollers will move out first defeating the point of having light rollers in the first place?. i know if this would work you would have to put the rollers in the variator equally so that the variator is not off-balanced.
Alright Ant, I know that you can use two different weights so like 3.5 4.5's with 3 of each to help setup but it's not reccomended to run two different types. (Going from what i've been told)
Ok thanks m8 ill leave the 3gr in there untill i get it jetted tomoz then when i know the engines running ok start finding which rollers work best.
They'll tell you that tomorrow mate ? That's what they're doing for me, Going to jet and tell me what rollers I need. If you got jets bring them with you, rollers too. Will save having to buy them in the shop.
They cant tell you what rollers you need from a dyno mate lol they can tell you which ones work best if they kept changing them and putting it back on the dyno to see which one keeps its peak power up all the way through the gear change.
