im sure you need bigger rollers and aparently the 180 is suposed to bit nearly as good as malossi but wait untill someone who knows exactly like minor

ramp is slightly diff and you can use 125 rolers with a 125 belt or 180 with a 180 belt.. depends what your setup requires. i find responce is better with them tho

So a 180 variator is good but the malossi is better?

With the malossi vario do you run the 180 or 125 belt?

Any one try this new variator? Art.-No.: P241608
    SR125-150 - Gilera Runner 125-180 - Italjet Dragster 125-180 Piaggio Hexagon 125-180/SKR 2t

The old one you could set up like a 125 og 180, just by adding a spacer. Product Nr.: P241608

How could using a spacer set up the variator for a 125 or 180?

thinner or thicker for whatever belt/rollers.. playing with the spacer has great results if you know what your doing

;) can run both or none depending on the belt and rollers used. im not letting off any secrets here but the thickness of shims on the back of the variator can have incredible effect.. the front spacing is simply to make sure the belt sits straight to the front pulley of the clutch.. belt MUST run completly straight to not wear out quick, kill power and not kill your crank.

Got these two variators...im guessing one is 180(left) and one is 125(right) as i saw a variator come straight off a 180 and it had the plate on the back..

    Are you sure?
I thought it was other way round, cos all my 125's have had the vario's without the back plate??

My previous 2 180s had the variator without the screws and they were 100% original before I took them into my hands ;)
