I dont know if I should carry on with my project or buy a new scoot and start from scratch. The scoot I am working on is a jap-import yamaha jog next zone. By the time I am finished I was hoping to end up with something sort of along the lines of this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExRvOGEwqpA But now i'm thinking I would like a more up to date scoot to mess about with but I cant make up my mind. All in all to get all the mods done I want I'm going to be spending in the region of £600 on my old '91 jog, where as I could by a newer model jog or a runner for that kind of money. Arrghh what would you guys do? If I go ahead with my old bike it will be quite unique looking if everything goes to plan...
so far as I can tell he has the same frame as mine but he has a jog front end on it and a tuned jog-rr engine. I dont need a lc engine so i'm just going to stick with the ac version. I wish the laws in the uk were as easy going on scoots as they are in europe
thats one of the nicest scoots ive ever seen , powerfull but still looks plain and simple , cld do with a front panel thou lol
Yeah i'm getting a front panel made with a headlight fited into it. On that bike the light is usually mounted on the handlebar.
its actually quite normal to get a little disheartened half way through a project!! look how many abandoned projects you see for sale in the magazines etc.... if you end up with something even half resembling that scoot in the you tube vid, there will be a few envious people i can tell you so come on....lets crack on with this project buddy
haha yeah I think that too. I'll crack on with it, its probably going to be worth it in the end. Now I just need to find me a jog-r engine for a decent price imp:
