hi, i have recently purchased a lexmoto echo 50 and im looking to derestrict the bike, iv been told that its not very easy, does anyone have any suggestions or guidlines please on how to do this. thank you
4 stroke China motor? 0lenty of guides online. Search your motor number, it's going to be something like qmb39 will give you an idea of how it's restricted. Usually only electronically via the cdi unit
start from the simple things, check the intake and exhaust first since they are the easiest things to restrict. there might be like a washer thing in the front of the carburetor that restricts airflow. the exhaust might have a little knob welded to the mounting point, or the end can could be restricted somehow, also 4 strokes almost always have some kind of a filter inside the pipe that keeps the sound and the emissions down, you would maybe have to cut the pipe open if you want to remove that.
