hi guys and girls i am planning on derestricting my 50cc 139qmb huatian tomorrow bored of goin 25 mph i have no limiter in the carb caop just a spring which i believe should be in there correct me if im wrong what could there be restricting it maybe the washer in the variator and the pink wire to a cdi anything else xx thanks for your help
Maybe a variator washer, if it has a wire leading into the side case, leave it disconected as it goes to the cdi. That's it. It will still be slow and you will need to replace the drive belt very soon. A new belt anywhere between 1000 and 3000kms.
thanks mate my mate dicovered that my needle in the carb was bent so he straightened it out and messed with the settings and now i can get 40
Get an 80 kit for 30 quid off eBay. There is a restrictor in your air box too, on the inside where the intake tube enters it. Gor for 4.5g rollers with a 50cc, and 5.5 with an 80cc. Also, install an 88 main jet (need a pic of your exhaust really) I know these engines inside out, mines got an 80 kit, jetted carb and modded exhaust. Selling mine very cheap too
