    my mate just brought himself a little sukida roma 50 4t, its not a bad little thing but f**k me is it slow. i have to keep stopping to let him catch up when we go for a ride.:(

    anyway is it the same as most 50's, wire on cdi and washer in the variator?

    i just gave him my old diesis instead, ropey 2 stokes better than a brand new chink 50

    it depends on the model, but there is either a speed sensor in the transmission which you can unplug or a wire on the cdi that loops back on itself (comes out the cdi then goes right back in again) a lot dont have the washer in the variator or exhaust washer, they are restricted on the rpm controlled by the cdi, but a few have the vario washer so worth checking. ive not seen one with an exhaust washer, but that doesnt mean it doesnt exist. they go a little better if you adjust the mixture screw too (it runs lean to meet euro 3 specs)

    Got a gilera ice
    mine had a screw in the carb.changed the carb to a19 cos of another unrelated prob.new pipe and filter.does 35 on the flat and nearly 50 0n the clock downhill ..probaly 43 in real turms.gotta 80 kit and a few other bits to go on it but have to do a cam change to finnaly do all i can
