Minarelli verticals are restricted by design... The one you linked trys to make it better by allowing the use of a larger reedblock.
Malossi do a big bore inlet manifold to accomdate a PHVB 22mm carb for around £30 Part number is 02 8479B. Its inlet is 27mm instead of 23mm for the standard fit ones so maybe it could be clamped down onto your 21mm carb for a bit of benefit. Top Performance also do a big bore in alloy for around £15ish apparently. I went for the Malossi as no online shops had the TP one listed (though i guess they could have ordered it)...its coming from Italy and should be here next week. As stated the vertical engines are restricted - 2 reed petals vs the 4 that the horizontal motors have. Not sure if it'd make much difference to 90% of machines though?
