iv just got hold of this one owner bike, it’s been in dry storage for 11 years and only covered 8000km

I have change every fluid cleaned the carb/jets new tyres ect ect

Any way it starts and runs well iv perchased a new sport exhaust nothing to fancy, apart from that it’s completely stock. I want to do away with auto lube and run it premix, does any one have knowledge of a safe premix amount for these engines and is it suitable, any body familiar with the Derbi Senda 50 engines I think it’s a Morini type id be grateful

    Cheers DE27E171-644D-4F09-A95F-A339377B14A0.jpeg

Oooh its an early one. Ermmm... im useless at premix amounts, start with too much oil. Its better to run too much than not enough. Plenty of apps to work it out.

What would you say 40:1 or 50:1 and in your opinion do think it’s safer than the auto lube

I would keep the auto lube. You can adjust the cable to run more oil.
Use good oil. No own brand carzone or whatever.
The waterpumps sometimes fail on them too, it starts dripping out the pump, the seal things go hard or something.
Oh and remember chain lube, once a week

Believe it or not i have just found the stock fuel oil ratio!its written in the owners manual.
It says 2% so that’s 20ml to every litre of fuel 50:1

You should ride a proper sports bike....
50cc seems like nothing when you have ridden triple digit horsepower....

Yeah, I think an auto looses a lot through the transmission.
