Derbi Senda 06 SM X-treme project

right i sold my Rox and funded a senda as i always wanted one
so looking through ebay and came across a 06 senda
badly beaten as the owener knew F all bout it


so me and the guy came to an agreement, £200

so i ordered all new panels
rear light
grips
chain and sprockets

and spent ages stripping it, cleaning , replacing seals and bearings

water pump went so got new seals etc

spent around £350 on it in total

came with MK exhaust and Gianelli exhaust ( not full systems )

new panels :

17.5 mm carb > 21mm delly
Renthal chain and sprocket
renthal bars and grips
evo senda panels
mk airfilter
upjetted carb

looks good man, not sure about the stickers and mybe change the seat? but looking nice mate :good:

 

Looks mint Im gonna have to get one of those to play around with

 

the green rim tape came with it, so i thought of Monster energy
got new stickers since this pic, the stickers came off in the jetwash


But yeah its made me VERY proud

 

I've always wanted one of these, might buy one actually but not the SM because I will want to go offroad with it.

Are these bikes anygood for dirt jumps? Not huge jumps, maybe 10ft of air max.

no no road bikes are good on a track

 

as bait said , its staying on the road, i race mx but not jumping it lol

the bikes finished now, been riding it all day illegally

but after my pushbike accident yesterday morning, i ended up with 3 tarmac burns and a fractured wrist, rode it with a fractured wrist, now sitting in a cast after spending 5 hours in A&E, so off work for 6 weeks and cant ride it :'(

but cheers the comments, does go rather quick, but 3 gear seems to bog a lil
carb need setting up ?

Its a shame really that Derbi didnt bother with a 125 2T senda!

 

yeah the bike rode really lovely, the powerband on the mk exhaust system was amazing, i loved it, i recently swapped it for a polini tuned aerox 70, so im back to twist and gos
