dented exhaust

    hi ive got a malossi mhr exhaust pipe for a piaggio typhoon 172 but it is badly dented
    is there any shops that will pull it out in london

    last shop i know of moved to kent, but im sure there must still be a few around :good:

    what you could try is drilling and tapping, or just a self tapper into the centre of the dint and pull on that. it should pull it out and then just pop it to a garage( or an uncle, coz usually one my have one, lol) who has a weldder to put a few tacks on it. no more than a fiver if your not too picky about the look`s after, you could get some heat paint for a few quid

    erm, that requires taking it to somone with a welder anyway... so dont drill holes in your pipe.. take it to a body shop, they can weld nails/pulling pins onto the pipe and use a slide hammer to pull the dents out. then you just snap the pins off..

    dont ever intentionally put holes in metal to fix a dent, its backwards thinking.

    fill it wiht water and throw it in the freezer.. old crosser trick if your in the mood for ANY form of bodgery

    So er minor said what I said?! It's what I had done to my PM. Cost me something like £20 and was done the next day. Simple. No fucking about and hardly any cash.
