    Ok,

Air filter: Drain fuel once the carb has been up-jetted, sound louder and wont add speed to it.

an air filter wont add mph

its possible the carb will slightly increase top end speed and throttle response if your jumping up from a 12mm carb.

Why make a thread about this?
What did you buy a bigger carb and air filter for..
To improve your bikes performance so you just answered your own question.

will be shit loads better with the 17.5mm carb on and was not much point on putting a 70 bore on and keeping the 12mm

And another thing ive noticed...in 50cc derezzed (no tuning) form...

The Runners with the 17.5mm Dell are no quicker than the weber 12mm equipped Runners...

And another thing :D The Triangle shaped airbox is far superior to the later long thin box in terms of air flow...

yep..then the bigger carb can really get to work...as long as you aint got that horrible later airbox...with the tiniest inlet snorkle ive seen on a ped :D(piggy motors)

ive seen turbo"d 2 strokes...but theres a lot more to it than just bolting a compressor on!!

And turbo lag is usually an issue too ;)

ok. now me and the mad scientist have ran out of ideas. LOL!!

turbo lag can be solved by having a variable resistor wired upto the the throttle. more throttle means more current flowing to the compressor, therfore you've solved your throttle lag issue.. :w00t:
