dellorto 25mm / 172cc AC malossi / airbox

so i got a new malossi 172 ac cylinder kit, the malossi dellorto 25mm kit (the one with the 82 main jet). im planning on running it with standard airbox. my question is, will i have to rejet the carb since the current jet is 82? with what jet should i start and what else should i set up on the carb.... THANKS

 

Start with a big main jet (110) see how it runs then work down if to much. Set mixture screw as needed, atomiser/pilot jet might need changing also slide may be a tad rich. Just need to find a good setting. The 25mm Dellorto is a carb for any 2t engine, it isn't a specific carb designed for a 172cc so it needs jetting to suit.
