Ok well i want to de restrict, but my mum is getting worried that if i do it will void my insurance or something, if i do and i crash will i still be able to claim? and get stuff back because she is going to be paying £400+ for my first insurance

Quite rare that they actually pay attention to it though. It's very rare to even see a restricted 50cc.

If you are a young rider you wont be fully comp so no need to worry about claiming if you crash into a tree or something.

If someone crashes into you then it's their insurance that pays out anyway.

depends how your ride, but unless theyve got a dyno they cant really check unless you get caught speeding but usually they dont no

it is safer, peds are still meant to be restricted to 30 and trucks to 56 yet other vehicles are getting faster
