dam slider

    bought a yamaha slider the parts came from easy parts very quick delivery and i fitted it all togetherand today my mate was a bit stoned and was full reving it holding the brakes in and something metal has grinded away in the crankcase behind the driveshaft dont know what todo thanks for any replies

    what did ya fit? could be variator nut has fell off or vari fooked up and the grinding noise is the grooves on ya crankshaft :banana:

    he fitted fairings n its not by the part where u put the rollers in. its in the other bit which the drive belt goes round.

    its most probably the torque driver grinding againt the back of the case which holds the gear fluid

    i did it to my first aerox i had i think the torque driver grinded in so far it ended up spliting the case which holds the gear oil and it pissed out everywhere

    you shoudnt hold the back brake in and go flat out on the gas because you wear the clutch out

    Why would it do that because I think its done that on my SR but my clutch wont come off even with the nut off.

    Does it still move? If not... maybe belt has just snapped...

    it doesnt move really but belt isnt snapped but it is looose.

    took some piks but have to wait for my bro to get back so i can put them on
