First off we have a sheet of 6mm ally, hold the caliper as close to original position but overlapping lugs. You could use card to make templates, the templates need to overlap, leave excess on and cut it down a bit at a time. The ty-rap is used to pack caliper just off the disc and if needed, a few plain washers to pack the caliper if it need's moving sideways either way. A hacksaw/hand files/drill and drill bits and your on your way! It might not look pretty but it works 100%
You can always cut and trim any excess off or re-make another once you get this far. Any wheel/disc size/ fork combination can be made, this cost £10 and a couple of hours in the shed.
