Just returned from a trip to Cyprus where there is currently no requirement whatsoever for MOTs on motorcycles or scooters
over here, people buy expensive nice bikes and ride them til they break, ive seen so many sendas, almost new, not looked after and die a death after a year..... its tragic really, plus dangerous, no MOT means a lot of bikes dont have brakes, or tread on the tyres, or working lights.....
the fatality rate is quite low here as the speed limits are slower and people are better drivers (the tests here are much harder) plus theres way less people here... i have fixed a whole load of bikes where they have crashed into a car because the brakes failed.....
