what is the most up to date typhoon engine ? what im thinking is i have a 57 plate nrg power dt in stock form. is there a typhoon from around the same time that will have the same engine but in the 80cc form ?
i was thinking if there is rather than buy a performance 70 kit i could take the piaggio 80 cylinder, piston, head and bolt it onto my 50 nrg and hopefully that way with it all being piaggio parts it should be just as reliable as its a commuter.
my mate has a expensive 70 kit and is always having bother with it im hoping for a bit more poke but want it to still be reliable in the morning. i have a box of jets here and been given a TT pipe with rollers. so just need the 70 kit cheers for any help and info

What you are asking is silly. The 80's were terrible bikes and standard cylinders are made to insanely poor quality.

Buy a good brand sport 70cc kit and it will be as reliable as a 50/80 or even more reliable!

An expensive 70cc kit is normally one made for much more power hence a lot more maintenance to keep them reliable.
