hi my nrg cut out on way home from work and started up again after about 5 kicks but sometimes when i stop at traffic lights it trys to cut and would cut out but i kept jerking the throttle so it stayed on, when i got hoem had a look at the spark plug and it was a dry blacky brown colour and checkd the spark and it was fine. im thinking a blocked jet or blocked fuel line or dirt carb ?
also my indicators work fine when the bike is not running but when im going they do not flash but just stay on ?
any help on any of the two probs please ?

    hi mate

the cutting out could be dirt in the the fuel line or a blocked jet... it could also be dirt in the air filter. i would try to clean the jet and air filter if no better change the plug.

and the probleme with the indicators i am afried i can not help

    hope this helps BYS

P.s has the idle screw has been changed

my rossi rox ussed to do this TERRRRRIBLE

    that is called plug fouling

my aerox never used to start up in the morning unless i claned the PLUG and started with the throttle off

theres a couple of reasons for this

    1. underjetting running to rich can foul plugs = expensive and annoying

    2. most probably your choke is knackered if its e choke save up for a manual version cos they are shit!!!

    3. anothe rone can be your idle screw but as your bike hasnt been touched much i doubt it may be this but if i were you reset it back to normal incase

    4. the last and probably the most probable cause could be your rings, if they are worn replace them, asap, do a compreesion test with a proper gauge and see what its reading, if your losing compression your being defeated before you satrt

theres a couple more aswell but ive found the 4 above usually the most common

just went for a ride and it started fine rode fine then i stopped at the shop and it started but when i went to go it didnt go past 4000 rpm and after about a minute or unconsistable low revs it kicked in and was fine untill i stopped at the lights and then it died and kept dieing for about 15 attempts at teh electric start and bout the same on the kick start but i managed to get it going on about the 16th kick and it rode home fine i stopped at the lights but kept the revs high by useing the back brake and it was fine.
