As far as i am aware they are actualy illigal. to me it looks like them letters are reflective. you can however get a normal number plate but with carbon effect letters. police around here have personaly told me they are legal :yahoo:
the police dont like anything that's not the same as everyone elses, trust me, i've had 2 numberplate fines and i wouldnt put a dodgy one on again lol
