ok i have my yamaha aerox and i have a leo vince zx pipe ,malossi replacement filter for more air through the box , polini variator with 4,5 g rollers , uprated contra , kevlar belt ,stage 6 20% uprate gearup and carbon reeds and i have gone from 86 which i checked with haynes manual is standard so i went to a 95 as im told that you go up about 10 with an exhaust i have had no signs of bogging or bad running its reacts more when you get to half throttle but can do about 30 at quater more or less , i am running in but it just seems the bike is getting hot quite quick oh and im running oil with the fuel as extra lube because of running in , so am i doing it right ??
Re: curious if i'm running the right jet Best thing to do is go for a ride come back then pull your plug out. Then look on google or haynes manual and your tell if your running to rich or lean.
Re: curious if i'm running the right jet get the thing almost flat out (so 40 ish LOL) then slowly wind off the throttle... if it gets faster as you off the throttle slightly its rich up top and the jet needs to come down. make it knowingly rich (make it do this) then back fof the jet one at a time. as soon as it stops doing this the jet is about right. part throttle setting is nothing to do with the jet. if its shit at part throttle ajust the part throttle fueling (needle) jet guides will help you out loads
