just wondering if theres any way of making the seats on speedfights more secure because they can be opened by most peugeot keys and my mates aprillia key can even open mine, not good when you open your seat to find your mates have filled it with leaves

if different keys work in the seat lock they must work the ignition aswell :0

I can open most scooter seats without any key what so ever.. Anyone whos "ard enuff" can yank a seat open. Gilera runner seat locks tend to be the worst, although my skipper is by far the worst I've come across, can open it with 1 finger..

Best thing you can do is either design your own lock or fit an alarm.

i think my seat locks pretty good but probably open with a good pull lol
its built into the seat although the barrel wont stay in

And remember to NEVER leave valuables under the seat. They are designed to be a helmet storage only, hence why the manufactures havent botherd fitting decent locks as the under seat storage is not intended for personal item storage.

If you have a speedfight, I suggest changing the barrel completely.

I was at college once, saw some twat with a key opening speedfight seats up very easily
