Really could do with some help, everything is sound on the bike except for the bore and cranks really, haven't stripped down the bore yet, only fitted it this morning and it was all good, then now I can't even spin the engine over, totally jammed anyone got any ideas what it could be before I start ripping it to pieces.... Ive thrown loads of oil down into my cranks to see if that would lube it enough to free it or something but i'm guessing that wont work anyway... it's polini race cranks that are in it and they are on a stage 6 streetrace 70 bore, so any ideas please help...

    James.

Just took the cylinder off to realise that the piston is actually jammed in the bore? any way I can get it out? its stuck, ive even tried smashing it out but its not having it? its completely stuck, the kit is brand new as of this morning, i fitted it and run the bike round most of today then i tried starting it and its jammed, wont budge at all.. i haven't ragged it at all, been doing about 20-30mph all day..

hmm maybe its seized up? have you ever fitted a cylinder before? you might have fitted it wrong but that's really unlikely if it was working before

I fitted it yesterday, worked fine all day, well say 3/4 hours, doing 20-30mph running it in nicely, then I got home about 5, went back out to it at around 6 to try and ride and she was jammed, i took the bore apart and the piston is stuck in the cylinder.. I dont really wanna smash the piston to pieces but ive looked it up and thats all there seems to be for advice, get a block of wood and hit it out...

im not sure what the problem is, sounds to me like the piston seized up but im not an expert, i guess that you will just have to try to hit it out..

dont sound to nice that lol. make sure you dont bend the circlip when putting it in you need to seat one side of the circlip in the groove then twist the other end in and make sure its seated all the way round afterwards mate

Are you having a laugh seriously ?? NUMBER 4 WTF what do you do ? Stick your cock in the exhaust port ? When you put the circlips make sure the edge of the clip is in sideways never at the top or bottom .
