Really could do with some help, everything is sound on the bike except for the bore and cranks really, haven't stripped down the bore yet, only fitted it this morning and it was all good, then now I cant even spin the engine over, totally jammed anyone got any ideas what it could be before I start ripping it to pieces.... Ive thrown loads of oil down into my cranks to see if that would lube it enough to free it or something but Im guessing that wont work anyway... its polini race cranks that are in it and they are on a stage 6 streetrace 70 bore, so any ideas please help...

    James.

Just took the cylinder off to realise that the piston is actually jammed in the bore? any way I can get it out? it's stuck, ive even tried smashing it out but it's not having it? it's completely stuck, the kit is brand new as of this morning, i fitted it and run the bike round most of today then i tried starting it and it's jammed, wont budge at all.. i haven't ragged it at all, been doing about 20-30mph all day..

sounds like..lean jetting? not enough oil? is it pre-mix or auto-lube? any leanks in any of the gaskets making it run lean? did you use the proper brake-in techniques? did it idle properly? what oil were you using? syntetic or mineral? did you measure the ring gap and adjusted it? poiston the right way around? re-used any old bearings? there are way to many things to go wrong :p
It will be a shame if either of the new items are damaged :O
    Good luck :)
