crankcase clean?

My small bearing broke into pieces and im worried there might still be some metal in my crankcase , any ways of cleaning it out?

 

i would turn the engine upside down with the bore off and give it a good shake,after wards give it a blast round with a air line

 

if you dont want to strip it, swill the cases with petrol a few times and then use a petrol/oil mix in the same ratio as pre-mix. Leave it to stand open for a while so the whole lot dont explode due to fumes on re-assembly

 

might be worth getting 1 of them extendable magnets and having a snoop round inside see if there is anything obvious in there

be careful that i chunkette (a small feminine chunk!) hasnt got lodged in one of your mains.
