Hey all, Scoot is coming off the road for a winter sort out and some more mods :grin: I am running an Athena HP 70 kit alu single ring jobbie, an its great, reliable, starts first time every time, but now i want more ponys... After some reading on here im going to fit a new crank, a Malossi 21mm carb kit, and 40% upgear kit... However the choice of cranks are a tad baffling, i thought about keeping on the Athena wagon and going for the HPC crank but that uses a 12mm gudgeon and the HP kit is only a 10, im not going to change the HP kit for the HPR just to use the 12mm pin, unless the HPR piston will fit the HP barrel...? Otherwise what other crank would be a good choice for the set up i have listed in my sig...??? Thanks in advance... :good:
Athena do a piston for the HP with a 12 mil pin, also i have heard they are alot more reliable. The athena cranks are good, not as good as the malossi but they are better value for money.
