I’m thinking of using either threebond 1184 or 1215 on my winter project (nut and bolt restoration from the frame up) what do you guys use for the crank case sealing ?

the Minarelli work shop Manuel states yamabond 1215 I’m assuming that it is threebond 1215 ? Any body know for sure?

In the past ive used Hylomar Blue to seal the crank cases without any issues, its available pretty much from any car accessory shop.

Cool vid, From what I have read And also this video silicon-based RTVs are not very fuel stable so was thinking maybe I will go with the three bond 1184 As it’s a synthetic type and says it’s fuel stable I looked on there website it says the 1184 is suitable for crank cases

LOCKFAST liquid gasket works for me on my 125cc piaggio engines as they don't use a gasket.
