Crank Bearings.

    bought my bearings and seals. the manual says to fit them on the crank shafts first. can i put them in the casings first.

    i usually put them in the cases first

    i put cases in oven bearings in freezer,then drop bearings into cases, then cases in oven and crank in freezer, then fit crank..this is a black art and should only be practiced by warlocks...ps if you dont have a freezer handy try liquid nitrogen, much better :punk:

    or get freeze spray from a chemest and use a heatgun.. dont need to remove rubber seals and gearbox this way ;)
    but ye read up on endfloat and centering the crank befor trying to fit one.
