Ok so total noob here. I bought my son his first scooter, only a cheap one just to see how he gets on with it after passing his cbt. We're currently doing a few jobs but the seat locking mech has been disconnected so when I put it all back together the seat has now locked and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to open it again. I believe it's on the ignition barrel but not sure. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Have a look at the ignition, if it has "open" with arrow pointing to the left then yes. Get into the ign switch and you'll see a cable on the side, undo the holding screw and pull cable.
Hi thanks for the reply. It does have open on the ignition switch but when I turn it to that and try and push it nothing happens. Do you think maybe the cable has come off from the barrel?
