hi, the throttle sticking problems i have been suffering with ever since i had a engine rebuild are still on going, its really doing my head in now.

ive checked the cable at the top where the throttle is, no fraying of the wire and ive copper slipped it all up to make it slide easier.
ive checked the cable in the splitter and still no fraying of wire and ive also copper slipped it all up to make it slide easier.
ive checked the cable at the bottom where it goes into the slide and yet again no fraying and ive copper slipped it up.

so, im thinking it must be the slide in the cabrurettor which i may not have put in correctly.

what are your opinions and what does everyone think i should do? i need help please.

also i am going to put some different clutch springs in, ive got the pack of 3 doppler ones, red, yellow and blue. which colour stiffness should i put in with my current setup which is below?

does it work by hand with the cable pulled at the top of the carb?

yes but not very easily, ever since ive put it in it was a tight fit but i just thought it was meant to be like that.

you know because ive put a 70cc kit on do i need to increase the oil or anything?

u have to take ur waterpump housing off. behind this is your flywheel and stator.. the autolube pump is in the bottom right corner. it shud hve a black tube going into it coming from ur 2T oil tank. im not sure which way to turn the screw though..

someone on ere will know.. :D

hows the kit then?? i want a polini coz i heard that there quality was slighty better than malossi. whats the accel like with the kit then??

right thanks il strip the water pump down and try and find out which way to turn the screw to increase the autolube, do you think this could be causing the throttle slide to stick?

as for the polini kit, its ace i went for it mainly for reliabilty and the acceleration is mint mate, really quick. im getting stiffer clutch springs in later though, dont know which ones to put in though ive got 3 sets, firm, hard and super hard.

no its not causing ur slide to stick.. u have to turn your pump up tho because ur runnin more cc therfore it needs more oil to be lubricated properly..

i think youve got a faulty carb... coz my slide just slides all the way to the bottom instantly.. i think ur slides rubbin on the wall of ur carb.. but im just guessin..

    bang some pics up.. /\ /\ /\ /\
