Was riding around Nottm city centre for about 2 hours the other day trying to find a site to do with work, & my borrowed sat-nav ran out of me, as I oughta have known it would..

What I wouldn't have given for one of these little fiver-jobs then.. o_O

Would be handy for lighting fags too o/c, but more so for those things that seem to only come with fag-lighter plugs (why the f/k in this day & age..?).

there are alternatives... like pannel itmen (not loose fitting like this can get illuminated sockets and allsorts. local car shop has millions of diff ones, these are not made to mount into pannels. handy to have yes, will kill your battery running anything for more than a few mins tho.

I have one fitted on my runner to charge my phone on long rallies some last 4 days so my phone is well dead by then

All wirings done properly and its mounted so it looks like the scoot comes with it standard. remember to fit an in line fuse and use decent cables and crimps or whatever you use

Unfortunatelly there not a good idea to show off to your mates how you can light up a fag etc,. if your not careful you will kill your battery or even melt your loom.

I avoid the temptation because i dont smoke

you get away with it as you have a big 4 banger tho monty... its handy for impact wrenches, the odd phone charger and the occasional satnav but i wouldent advise its use for high load use.. i think the way cars are hooked up and the adaptors avalable are just plain unsafe and a bit of a fire hazard. want it as close to the battery as possible. id put it straight off the output of the fuse but beef up the feed wire to the socket.. nice thick earth cable.

remember, if you haver a 50 you will kill off your battery andf maybe the rec if you over use these sort of things.

kids put neons all type of shit on so im sure a phone will be fine. tbh most 50ccs dont go far enough to need a phone charger. i know kids would over use these things to show off.

luckilly most of them that would danger themselves have no idea about electrics so it saves them really

now when im stuck in the middle of france its a bit of a problem
