hey, just wondering, can the aircooled minerelli engine have a watercooled 70 kit? if you find a place for the radiator, hoses, and will the water pump from an airox or such like fit straight onto the aircooled crank or will it need modification?

is there any diference between them such as the stroke?

reason why is there is radiators, and a pump at my work in the basement, and im wanting a 70 kit.

    thanks :)

block up the inlet on the barrel (water in channel) and tap the side of the barrel at the bottom somwhere for a pipe fitting.. run the wc kit as usual except the bottom pipe go's to the bottom of the barrel not the side of the engine

    hey, thanks minor

im starting to muddle myself up,

you block off the botom hose fitting (from pump) then drill/tap another hole in the bottom of cylinder? and find/make a screw fitting to take the hose from there.

then does that become your new water inlet?

whats the reason for moving it? probly simple im just missing the point.

    thanks again

well, im not sure on the mina engine's.. with the piggys you just use the same place as its the same case with a couple bits not drilled out.

yeah im prety sure its the same case, theres an airox in bits at work.. pitson seized stuck in cylinder, but i had a look and bottom of AC and WC cylinders were same without water jackets going to crank case.. is this what your on about?

ahh just looked at pictures of a piggy barel, do they have a water jacket around exhaust port which goes into casing? then a fitting for the hose on side of engine casing?

haha im still probably geting this wrong someware.

    thanks
