compressing piston rings

    just line them up with the piston ring cutout in the piston, thenc ompress them with your fingers :wtf:

    with your fingers ? the ones ive got are never gona hold that way , theyve got to much bounce , do u know what i mean though when you fit piston rings theyr always to big and you just need to squeeze them on into the grove so they fit right

    just open them up a little not too much and slide it down lol.

    yeah i did , was really hard with these rings thou for sum reason ive done them before and didnt have a problem

    erm dont try to strech to much and make sure they dont brake i broke one of mine got 1 for free :D erm would it be easy if u heated it a little ?

    its orite i done them ages ago , its not that they were to small just ridiculously to big , just got a mate round to hold them while i slipped the barrel over

    1. there the wrong rings
    2, its easy to fit them by hand, 4t's its easier to use a piston ring tool..
    3 NEVER heat rings.. they warp

    if they are , whats liekly to happen because its running fine at the moment , and i doubt il b able to rreturn them now ? i wldnt b suprised if they were the wrong rings as beedspeed sent me the wrong piston first time

    well, there are more than one type/size of rings.. if they are hard to fit/compress they cant be right.. should be a gap on the ring when in the barrel (crutial to mantain compression but not pinch when warm)
    did you get a piston and rings at the same time? did you quote the size letter on the piston?

    more to the point did you put them up the right way?
