clutch bell seized on a runner 125cc

    hey right wanted to change the belt on my friends runner and the clutch bell and washer seeemed like the was seized on! took alot of wd40 and 2 screw drivers to force the washer of! when u should just pull if of with your hand anyways, then the clutch bell seems to be stuck as well! what could have caused the and how the feeeck do u get it of lol its stuck on that shaft thing proper :( and help would be great cause i need to change the belt thanks

    well its either been on there a long time and has rusted into place...or

    whats a 3 leg puller? and i was using a end of a hammer and everything to try to wrench it of! i dont think its rusted on cause the spacer was just as stiff but with wd40 and strenght it came of, what is the long rode going thru the bike that everything is on? eg,the clutch and torque driver, is they no way to take that out?

    its the imput shaft.. and yes it comes out, need to take the gear cover plate off to get to it.

    they always get stuck on...

    so just keep using some brute force and wd40 and i should get it of? also would heating it up help?? thanks

    you should be able to open torque drive bit and slip the belt behind, i never have to take the clutch bell off.

    i did try to open the torque drive up abit but is hard when its on the bike and u can get a good grip on the thing lol

    take the belt off the variator, move it to the back so you can get to both sides of the torque drive, rotate as you squeeze, poke the belt in the bottom and then remove the top.. then rotate the clutch so the belt thats pinched by the pulleys is facing back then pull... repeat in reverse


    to get the bell off without a pulleyr requires a friend or two...

    lift the back of the bike up.. with a nut wound flat on the clutch shaft (not tight, just flat to the shaft) pull the bell/bike towards you, hard so you have the swinging weight of the bike pulled hard, then hit the nut/shaft sharply wiht a hammer.. keep pulling hard against the bike wanting to swing back and it will come off.

    lol best way to learn is by doin it urself not payin sumone else, unless u dont have a clue what to do then pay someone :D
