    Hi there
    Piaggio skipper 125 2005
Sometimes the clock resets when I turn the key.
Tried wiggling the wiring at the back of ignition bit nothing seems loose.
    Has anyone experienced this before

    Really annoying now
    Thanks in advance

Really annoying that I have to reset the time date often.
Tend to do it when I turn the key slow.
Turning the key fast seems to be ok.

My guess is that it maybe a faulty switch in the ignition but I was hoping someone had had the issue before

clocks tend to rot away from the rear so its possible this clock reset is due to this degrading of the clock itself.

not much in a way of a fix unless you replace the whole clock set

Ok so when I turn the key slowly I'm getting a electrical kinda noise about half way between off and on then the clocks reset.
If you turn the key quickly it's fine
Bike has covered 3500km there is no rot behind the clocks. So I'm guessing the fault could be within the ignition
    What you think
