Yea she's it harder to work on I was thinking white spirit should clean it up well but then would have to take all the bits off ,
Can't really jet wash it coz the water will force its way in the head and over part ,

I just used GT85, spray it allover the dirty gunked up bits, scrape the big bits off with a flatblade screwdriver then get all the surface stuff off with a rag & more GT85 :)

i cleaned my scooter engine with it and up around my petrol tank and around the frame ... looks really good now

apply it with a paint brush and try keep a container to catch all the drips ... its still really good and usefull a 2nd and 3rd time round

once i had applied it with the brush and gave it some working time i used the garden hose with a spray attachment on it and it washed away to give a gleaming look on the engine if like it was brand new

also didnt damage any plastic or rubber and even works its way though the thicker muck just by applying with a normal paint brush

elbow grease is cheaper its only £1 and it will clean it better than gunk as it leaves no oily residue or stains the path underneath
