Whats the best way to clean up an engine casing? external not internal, i think im going to polish it up, and also, could i drill holes in my tranny case or is this not a good idea? i like the look of drilled tranny cases. Thanks :good:
I don't know about the drilling thing but you can a decent enough steam cleaner for about £40 off ebay that will do the job, your mum can use it for the kitchen and bathroom tiles as well Just make sure you do the necessary lubeing and water protecting afterwords.
i did my tranny casing with a power drill and rotating wire brush set of ebay for 3 quid today and this is what it looks like http://www.flickr.com/photos/danolssen/5585360487/in/photostream/ looks nice just go easy with the pressure cus it will cut the soft ally easy
