circlip fell down into crank area

my mate dropped his circlip when he was changing his bore. it fell into the hole. it makes a slight ratteling noise when he rides....is it possible to get out?

 

why didnt he get it out if he was chnageing the bore? well it could get in to the cylinder scratch the bore an piston an fuck your kit up?

 

coz he wasnt sure of how to get it out.....is there a solution to getting it out?

 

id take the whole engine out an bore/top end off and the reed block off, tip it around till it comes out, sounds bodge but what else is there to do realy ?

 

or magnetic screwdriver if the circlips r magnetic...will save u takin engine out n disconectin evrythin

turn it up side down and keep moving it till it falls out but the magnetic idea sounds good

its 20 past 12 hock: and yea man that is pretty special its probably done a shit load of damage that he dont know about yet i cant imagine a circlip is in with the crank and bearings ect and hasnt fucked something...abit of grit would bollock rape it so i dont c how a circlip hasnt if he gets away with no damamge then hes a lucky bastard

got it out now...took engine out and turnt it upside down and it fell out. need a new piston now

 

did it mash the circlip up mains might be fukd anall

for the sake of tipping up the bike/engine. nowz got to take it out anyway and pay for replacment parts
