Just got this as a little toy before all the weather goes down hill, less than 700 miles on the clock. It's been stored in someone's garage since new basically. Took these pictures when I was checking it over hence why it's not that clean and one of the panels in the centre is off (not missing)
Just making the parts list this now and sketching out some ideas then it'll be having some changes after it's MOT and Tax are sorted this week or early next so will be updated very soon guys.

Got and fitted the Speedo cable to sort the speedo issue
Out with the old in with the new...

Only to find that the speedo cable wasn't the problem as I was told by the previous owner. Also failed the MOT because the forks are done...happy days but what can you do apart from sort it n move on.
Anyways, sourced the speedo problem down to the speedo drive and got a new one for a good price courtesy of J-Nitro-thanks again mate. So I'll be fitting it when I change the forks over.

As for the forks I've just sourced a nice set from Nitro-Rhys (thanks man)

    The scoot this now...

So they'll be getting fitted on Tuesday all going well and I might get the MOT done for the cheaper price on Wednesday...watch this space

Got the new forks this morning and with help from my biker mate Easy we fired the old off and stuck on the new. So phoned the garage and popped through for a retest (the guy looking at the bike while having a cigarette break and they charge you £13 :bird: ) and it passed so went n got the tax too...so we're road legal :p

The new forks on (couldn't get a chance to take pics while swapping them)

Now we can think about doing stuff...

Ok haven't updated this for a couple of weeks due to rubbish weather halting me a bit and being ill.

Stripped the bike down for the panels to be painted. I'll leave it til they're back on for you's to see the colour, why not lol. With the front wheel going down constantly I'm going to take it off and see if I can source the problem and either rub down and paint (which'll be happening soon regardless I imagine) or have it resealed-just depends on the problem.
Ordered a sidestand and clear rear light and clear indicators from Scooter Attack so should be here for the panels going back. Just wanting it back on the road this now cos it's been off for a few weeks. Be doing more once it's back on the road.

Finally lol, got the parts from Scooter Attack, new registration plate came and the panels were painted last week
This'll be pretty much how it's staying, once I get the clear rear indicators, until the winter then I'll drop the engine out, tune it and polish it. The scooter was really transport for the bad weather so I'm not sorting the engine only to get it caked in crap and corrosion with all the salt they put on the roads up here. Probably pick up the pillion panel as opposed to the cushion one.

The paint is a Citroen Wicked Red and the black panels have been done in high gloss black. Pics ain't the best but it was on my phone n mega sunny, apparently not the best device for metallic paint :confused:arc:

Panels painted and waiting to be put back on (as though sitting them on newspaper'l prevent them from getting scratched lol

    Couldn't resist a show plate (non-road use of course officer :p )

Photo Bucket pretty much condensed the arse out of them so with them being phone pics it's hard to get a feel for the true colour. Kind of a dark gloss red out the sun n a bright metallic red in the sun.

well done mate, hope help eveything goes ok @ your next MOT, if I were you take the bike to a dodgy MOT testing service theres bound to be one near you that passes bikes instantly,

Nothings worse than a waste of hard hearned cash when you hear some prick say the F word

You wont need the speedo to work at the testers, they wont be taking the bike for a spin or anything, just dont make it obvious (connect the cables and keep your beak shut lol) them forks look mint mate!

your project is coming along really nicely mate - I love the aerox

(by the way - which fork leg is fooked? I night the right one asap :pimp: if you got one spare ill buy it off you mate!)

hope the tyre pressure thing gets fixed it kept happening to my old rox I know how annoying it is :msn1: lol

I love it when you strip a rox to its bones looks well awsome, I was riding mine with all the plastics off before, kept having to adjust adjust the carb etc when the engine was put back in, it feels wicked when u ride it like that lol nd u get loads of strange looks :D
