Hey guys. Another problem with my scooter :(

I broke down the other day and as part of problem finding I took apart the carb etc because the engine wasn't getting fuel. Anyway the problem was the main jet and not the choke.

But whilst taking apart the carb, the choke was jammed in there and when I pulled the choke out the assembly broke off, leaving the barrel in there and I managed to pull the spring & pin out.

First I would like it if anyone has any ideas on how to get the rest of it out?

And secondly, I will only have the bike for a few more weeks, if I just leave the bike warm up every time before riding do I still need the choke? I don't really know how they work only know that they help warm the bike up by richening the fuel?

    THANKS!!

They usually have screws keeping them attached. They cost no more than a tenner and presumably the person who buys it from you will question why theres half a choke on the carb? Dont buy one by all means but youre going to kick yourself when you dont spend the tenner on a new one and it decides to not start for love or money when youre running late.

I will not be selling the bike! I couldn't do that to someone. I would just keep it in the collection of all my other shit in the garage haha!

I know they have a screw attached :p I undone that and the top half come out but left the bottom half still in the carb. I can't get it out it seems to be wedged in there and I dont want to buy a new carb and manifold.. ahh
