    Hi,

The picture shows one of 4 bolt holes on the engine casing which the engine mount (front of engine to frame) screws to on a Yamaha Majesty 125 engine.

It is chipped and the original bolt just turns.

A longer bolt tightens ok. The other 3 bolts of the mount are all ok.

This scooter engine is also connected at the rear to the frame by two shock absorbers.

Is this damaged engine casing bolt hole a problem to worry about?

    Thanks,

    Mark

If a longer bolt is fine and all tightens down good then i cant see a problem with it.

    Thanks for your reply.

Are moped/scooter engines 'stress bearing' part of the overall structure?
