Cheap 50cc Scoot wanted, preferably yamaha air cooled model.

A friend of mine has decided he wants to get a scoot after having a blast about on mine. He has about £400 to spare in about 3 weeks time.

He wants an air cooled 50cc model, preferably a yamaha.

Also I am on the lookout for a cheap JogR for a project.


Collection is possible but we live in cumbria, right under the scottish border so anywhere south of birmingham is going to be a bit of an arse to drive to just to pick up a scoot.

mot till end of august

no tax but as you know it's only 15 quid.


erm, previous paint reacted on panels so they're quite bumpy, need redoing really. erm, no fuel guage/light (wiring problem).



Just had new:

mains and seals
small end bearing
barrel, piston, head.
gaskets.

My friend was interested but if your in lincolnshire its just too far for him to travel. He'd be looking at a 9 hour round-trip and unfortunatly he's a lazy bastard and wont do more than a 5 hour round-trip.
