wtf.... is it just me or has this just been added?? never seen it before... might just be my stupidness???
So i don't have to keep explaining every time someone joins. It's currently just a basic php based chat meaning that it has to refresh to show the text being written. So it refreshes every 3 seconds. Tomorrow i will be changing it to an AJAX based chat which means it shouldn't need to refresh. It will be more like say the facebook chat.
Old chat has now been fucked off. New chat is now installed and the link is at the top next to your profile n shiz. Says who is in the chat in the member list by putting a * next to there name and says the number of people next to the link. At the moment the only problem i can see is it doesn't seem to log you out when you close the window. You have to click log out. I'll be able to sort that though.
