changing rollers

    Can anyone just give me a walkthrough as how to change my rollers please?

    cant be arsed with waiting for someone else to do it ?

    1. take off the tranny case
    2. undo the nut holding the variator on (need to use a variator tool or build something yourself which will stop the variator rotating)
    3. then slide off the everything before the belt (dont no there names) then slide the belt off
    4. behind the belt is the variator slide that off
    5. inside are the rollers, pop them out then put the new ones in, and put every thing back in order.

    Yer , that nut is an utter pain, getting someone to swing me round the variator holding tool shortly, so i can change them .

    True....

    .....But it's best to take the clutch off too when replacing. Prise apart the clutch (can use ya hands) then the belt will be much slacker for when putting the variator side back on, because you might find it tight just taking the one side off and it could cause you problems :nerd:

    Oh and use locktite :rofl:
