change the gasket

    recently my ped broke :( water started coming out from my exhaust and now my ped wont start. i spoke to some 1 that noes a little about peds and he said that my gasket could have gone, is this right and if it is how easy is it to change.

    yep probably the head gasket...

    and the answer to is it hard...depends on how competent you are with the spanners really :)

    thanks, how much would it cost to get it done by a shop and how long about

    Depends how much the shop wants to rip you off...

    A decent, honist shop should replace it in 2hrs max, can be done in under an hour if your a wizard.
    The gasket itself costs about 50p

    But im afraid most will lie and charge you something stupid like £30 for the gasket and like 6hrs labour.
