Hey there, i was thinking about buying a Race CDI for my aerox because the acceleration is totaly crap, acording to the listing it takes out the rev limiter, will this be better and what will it do, cheers brad
ahh once again a person who reckons they can do 60 without a 70kit!!!, no fucking chance mate! the amount of stuff ive bought , over £300 worth! and i can only just pull 63! so your obviously wrong sorry to say!
"Top Speed: 63Mph Recorded by BMW X5 alongside." I would get the clock sorted on the bmw mate :bird: Edit: In response to your post, A Non restrictive CDI Should let the engine reach maximum revs quicker. You HAVE changed your rollers right? arc: Heavier rollers are gonna slow ur accel down too.
and try lighter rollers you say you got heavier ones you want lighter ones to go with pipe. thats probs where you loosing acceleration.
Mine gets to the liquid cooling logo with a TT, full de restricted + clutch springs and rollers. So im guessing its doing 50-55 Genuine speed.
time and a place to be cunts, this isnt it he's said in his sig one thing, all it took was one of you to say listen mate your speedo is out trust me blah blah, but you were all just cunts.
but seriously we did get a bit carried away but evry one duz it, just like you gettin in a huff becuase some guy recons his dna does 60
a) i agree 63 is optimistic but i know that i've had good speeds out of almost stock 50s so i'm keeping quiet. b) the rev limiter will make no difference to acceleration unless you have a reasonable cylider on the bike, the stock one can't produce the RPM to warrant limitless CDIs. the limit just stops the bike revving beyond a designated ammount, not how quickly it gets there. i suggest lighten your rollers (and people, ffs keep the crap about not touching 60+ on a 50 to yourselves, true or not, who cares anymore)
