CDI problems

    hi guys need some advice i havint got a imobliser on my gileria stalker 50cc so if i replaced the cdi would i still need to mess on changeing keys?

    +1 , no need to mess with anything if you do not have immobilzer fitted.

    all you must do is make sure you get the correct type of cdi for your scooter. most websites will say " suitable for " and a list of bikes .
    reason for this is cdi's come in two types AC or DC and you need one that matches your bikes output ie ac feed or dc feed .

    DC cdi = powered from the main battery on scooter

    ac cdi = means its powered via the stator in your engine flywheel
