cdi limitor?

does a yamaha jog r have a CDI limitor on it? because mine reaches 85 kmh on flat but only reaches the same downhill , and i have a 70cc kit with bigger carb. just feels like its not letting itself go enough...???​

dont know and that costs money haha my mates speedfight original just with exhaust is faster haha and mines a 70!!

 

try a ulimited cdi im not saying it will do owt though haha

 

dont buy an unlimted cdi ,,,u dont need it ....it is your gearing that is restricting you

Because your gearing is too short but a gear up kit and that will sort it.

I did it on my speedfight with a 70 kit and it added about 10mph extra.

Your friends speedfight is faster because speedfights may have different gearing.

Go to the link and look at the gear kits at the bottom. You need a secondary gear kit, which one depends on which kit u have, no point in adding displacement if your not giving the gears for it to drive.

 

Oh and thinking about it, give them a ring, tell them which kit u have, and they will give u an idea of the best gear kit to go with it, they will prob recommend theirs lol, try it, their easy to fit.
