CBR Speed

    I have a 06 CBR with 1500 miles on the clock it strugles to even stay at 60 i know they are slow but are they realy that slow? i heard people have got 75 out of them even when i'm tucked under the screen it still will only hit 65 :confused: if thats all it will give thats fine just wondered seems abit slow any advice if there could be a problem?

    How fat are you? My mate george can hoid a speed of 65mph and he's 17 stone.

    It should hole a speed of 65mph when you try to, I can get speeds of 75mph head up when riding his.

    Has someone played with your sprockets?

    before someone say's "only post if you have correct advise" I know what i'm on about

    i weigh about 11-12 stone errm not sure about sprockets what should i be looking for if the prevoius owner did do somthing to them ? sorry new to bikes lol:)

    Have a quick look up at the standard size for the rear sprocket, I know that the front one is a 15tooth.
    You arent changing into 6th before 60mph are you?

    Last CBR i rode i was seeing 167 on the clocks.
