Caught speeding

Letter through the post today, speeding at 35mph

you will all say i deserve the fine for breaking the law but 35mph is very petty its not like i was full on speeding through a 30 zone

My mates have done 34mph in a 30 and 40mph in a 30 and both been given the option to drop the fine completely and pay £75 to attend a speed awarness course without any endorsments

i hope i get it because 3 points is a killer for car insurance

ah north lincs police, yeah there was an article in the paper the other day about them having cameras set up at mini-roundabouts and giving people who drive over them rather than round them a £30 fine.

to be fair though 35 in a 30 is still speeding no matter how you look at it.

if you'd been doing 33 you'd have got away with it, 10% rule.

Im one of the most cautious lads on peds in terms of speed on the road.. i dont rag my ped and i stick to the limits.. they set the camera up on this main road where there are plenty of cars.. and the van is parked on the section of the road where there is a dip... quite easy to gain a mph or two on that dip without intending to
