thanks for this! my engine seized after using this product! and my batch number matches up to the contaminated oil. i am so angry about this!!
Sorry to hear that mate ! But get on the phone to them and kick up a fuss and they will pay for any repairs you have had or need ect. Mines rattlings since using it so stopped using it and going to give them a ring tomorrow if there not open will have to be Tuesday . Let me know how you get on !
will do well they will be paying for my piston kit i had to buy my new carb because the seizure fucked mine up! and i have receipts for them i will let you know as i will ring them tomorrow if they are open, but thanks so much for this thread
haha well castrol have agreed that it was there fault my bike is damaged so now they are sending me a cheque for £348 woo but it was a struggle to get this money! if you have to phone them and they dont admit it was there fault tell them you are going to trading standards and that you are willing to go to court unless they want to settle out of court!!!!!
Do u have to provide reciepts to prove u have had work done. Noticed my oil is the same as listed but got my mate to do the work for me.
i contacted them today about it and they have asked me to send the said oil to them ( i only used half a bottle ) and are checking it over as my bike is fine and hasnt been damaged yet so will be seeing what they say about the sample , if my bottle is contaminated they will be paying for any work that needs to be done otherwise they said that they will be giving me some freebies for my troubles , but for typh rider that is a result mate ! luckily my bike hasnt packed up yet so will see what they say about it ! i may have got lucky with my bottle
